The Mil Mi-24 ""Hind"" helicopter is a famous aircraft designed to address the need for a heavily armed and armored transport helicopter during the Soviet Cold-War. After the Korean War, attention was focused on changing the nature of the battlefield. helicopters saw large-scale use during the Korean War, highlighting the Soviet Army’s lack of a viable vehicle of the type.
