Mastercraft Collection: Dornier Do 335 Pfeil..
Wingspan: 12 inches
Length: 12 inches
The Dornier DO 335 Pfeil was a World War II heavy fighter developed by Dornier. It had a two-seater trainer version more famously known as the ̉anteater."" The performance of this aircraft was better than the other twin-engine designs because of its one-of-a-kind push-pull layout, as well as the lower drag of the in-line alignment of the two engines. The Luftwaffe wanted to have it operational, but due to delays in engine deliveries, only a few were built before the war ceased.
This handcrafted model is painted in the same paint scheme as the original and is painstakingly built from Philippine mahogany by our skilled craftsmen. Perfect as a gift for any aviation enthusiast and history buff!
