The BT-13 Valiant was the brainchild of the Vultee Aircraft in 1939, and was designed as a trainer aircraft of the then United States Army Air Corps (USAAC), which later changed to US Army Air Forces (USAAF). The Vultee B-13 is a small aircraft, which was powered by a single radial engine. The cockpit of the B-13 is designed to be twin-sitter, as this was 2nd phase training aircraft for aspiring military pilots. The Vultee can fly at a maximum speed of 180mph and at a range of 630nmi. The BT-13 Valiant was operated in many countries, and has been in popular movies like the “Pearl Harbor” film.
