The King Air 90 was a pressurized model following the Beechcraft 65-90. Launched in 1971, the King Air C90 came with an upgraded engine and longer wingspan. Although the aircraft was not the fastest turboprop ever developed, it still became one of BeechÕs bestsellers. The rugged aircraft was used by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, Canadian Forces Air Command and Royal Canadian Air Force, as well as the Peruvian and Spanish Air Forces. For almost 12 years, Beech was able to build over 500 King Air C-90s, and until now, you can still see some of those units in the used aircraft market, with lots of life still left in them.
This handcrafted model is painted in the same paint scheme as the original and is painstakingly built from Philippine mahogany by our skilled craftsmen. Perfect as a gift for any aviation enthusiast and history buff!
