General Ulysses S. Grant at his headquarters in Cold Harbor, VA, framed with an authentic 2-Ring Gardner Civil War Bullet.
As part of his Overland Campaign of 1864, Lieutenant General Ulysses S. Grant's Army of the Potomac battled General Robert E. Lee and the Army of Northern Virginia for six weeks across central Virginia. At the Wilderness, Spotsylvania, North Anna and Totopotomoy Creek, Lee repeatedly stalled but failed to stop Grant's southward progress toward Richmond. Finally meeting at the Cold Harbor, ten miles north of Richmond, the Confederate and Union forces engaged a bloody battle that lasted from May 31-June 12, 1864.
This beautiful print of General Grant at the site of the Cold Harbor battle is framed in wood and encased in glass.
