The B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay a significant role and considered a key figure in the humanity's history. Forever it will be remembered as the carrier of the “Little Boy” atomic bomb, which devastated Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 and officially ended the Japanese power in the Asia. The Enola Gay also dropped a second bomb in Nagasaki, thus became instrumental in the surrender of Japanese forces. This specific Superfortress is an imposingly huge aircraft with an 11-member crew on-board. The huge aircraft not only carried a 20,000 lb bomb, it is also armed with several powerful guns. The massively popular B-29 airplane was a silver-plated monstrosity piloted Colonel Paul Tibbets as its main pilot. Built by the world-renowned Glenn L. Martin Company (now Lockheed-Martin) the mighty B-29 Superfortress aircraft first saw the skies in the humble state of Nebraska.
