The Russian-made MiG-25 Foxbat affirmed that it was one of the fastest aircraft ever built when it set a record-breaking speed of 1,852 mph in 1967. Designed by Soviet Union's Mikoyan-Gurevich bureau, the Foxbat looked just like any other aircraft with its long, square-shaped airframe. However, this interceptor and reconnaissance aircraft had plenty of surprises beneath its fuselage. The aircraft is equipped with a powerful radar and four air-to-air missiles. With its state-of-the-art equipment, the MiG-25 can fly day or night, regardless of the weather condition or type of environment. This airframe was a symbol of Cold War, and it worked with Soviet allied as well as with former Soviet republics.
This handcrafted model is painted in the same paint scheme as the original and is painstakingly built from Philippine mahogany by our skilled craftsmen. Perfect as a gift for any aviation enthusiast and history buff!
