The 1930s until the 1940s marked the greatest history of aviation as every nation clamored for fast and powerful fighter planes just before World War II broke out. The iconic ME-109 Messerschmitt was the main fighter of the Luftwaffe and they were very successful with it. Designed and conceptualized by Willy Messerschmitt and Robert Lusser in 1930s, the construction of the BF 109 Messerschmitt was way beyond of its contemporaries. With a few more modification, the ME-109 was still able to perform against jet-engine Allied fighter airplanes until World War II. Today, many of the ME-109 airplanes are displayed in different museums all over the world.
