Product Details

The Lockheed L-10E Electra was a twin-seat monoplane manufactured by Lockheed Aircraft in the 1930s. As Lockheed’s very first aircraft, the Electra enjoyed commercial success after the banning of commercial single-engine passenger aircraft. Powered by twin air-cooled radial engines, the L-10E can fly at a maximum speed of 202 mph. This aircraft will always be remembered as the aircraft used by Amelia Earhart, the first woman aviator who flew trans-Atlantic. Lockheed Aircraft produced many variants of Model 10 Electra for both civilian and military use, with a total of 149 units built since its introduction in 1935.

This handcrafted model is painted in the same paint scheme as the original and is painstakingly built from Philippine mahogany by our skilled craftsmen. Perfect as a gift for any aviation enthusiast and history buff!
