The F-111 Aardvark is a strategic bomber, reconnaissance and fighter airplane, capable of wing sweep sequence manufactured and developed in 1960Ős by General Dynamics. The F-111 was a pioneer in many technological advancement in aviation during the 1960Ős, which included the introduction of afterburners for its turbofans engines, variable-sweep wings and terrain-following radar for its avionics. The F-111 Aardvark was also operated by the Royal Australian Air Force when they started importing them in 1970Ős. The F-111 Aardvark tactical fighter airplane were transitioned as strategic bomber by 1970Ős. The F-111 was powered by twin-turbofan engines with afterburners, capable of flying at Mach 2 speed.
