Manufactured in the 1940's by the Glenn L. Martin Company, the B-26 Marauder is a medium bomber aircraft with twin engines. B-26 Marauder bomber holds the lowest rate of loss among all other bomber aircrafts in the World War II history for the United States Air Force. The Marauder made its first flight in the late 1940 and was extensively active during World War II in the Atlantic, Mediterranean and the Pacific rims.The Martin Marauder B 26 aircraft had 7 crews, which included a pilot, a co-pilot, three gunners, a radio operator who is also the navigator and a bombardier. The Marauder B-26 runs on propellers and was used by different United State Corps including USAAC, later USAAF, the Marines, Navy and finally the Women Air Force Service Pilots.
