The A-10 Warthog was a close-air support and ground-attack aircraft designed by Fairchild Republic. Primarily used by the US Air Force, the Warthog boasts excellent maneuverability in both low speed and altitude, making it an efficient attack machine against ground enemy vehicles. This war machine is equipped with self-sealing fuel tanks and titanium armor protected cockpit and flight control systems, making the body resistant to armor-piercing projectiles. Also called the Thunderbolt, the A-10 aircraft was made its first flight in 1972 and remains in service with the United States Air Force.
