This two-seater plane made it easy for both pilot and students to communicate while in flight. Brought to the U.S Air Force in 1956, the T-37A has served for more than 50 years since its first take off. There were 1, 269 units built and in 2006, 419 were still serving the air force. The Tweety Bird retired officially from service on July 31, 2009.
