Mastercraft Collection: B-36J Peacemaker 1/100
Wingspan: 27.75 inches
Length: 20.25 inches
The B-36 "Peacemaker" was a strategic bomber built by Convair and operated solely by the United States Air Force from 1949 to 1959. The B-36 was the largest mass-produced piston engine aircraft ever made. It had the longest wingspan of any combat aircraft ever built, although there have been larger military transports. The B-36 has a range greater than 6,000 mi and a maximum payload of 73,000 lb, which made it the world's first manned bomber with an unrefueled intercontinental range and set the standard for subsequent US intercontinental bombers.
This handcrafted model is painted in the same paint scheme as the original and is painstakingly built from Philippine mahogany by our skilled craftsmen. Perfect as a gift for any aviation enthusiast and history buff!
